About this place
At Donai-ya, sharing chiritory nabe means you can adjust the heat to your liking and enjoy the meal right through to the finishing course. One diner who tried the hot pot said they could add gochujang to make it spicier, then choose udon or rice to end the meal. The menu also lists a hot-pot course with a choice of udon or Chinese-style noodles.
Some diners have added extra ingredients to the hot pot and ordered fried rice to finish. For another dish, the menu includes fried tecchan (beef offal) and Korean pancakes.
One diner noted that the staff cooked the meat, so it was not overdone, and that their clothes were less likely to pick up the smell of smoke. Donai-ya is an option for an evening meal featuring Korean dishes, and reservations are available.
